Camp Fire Melodies

This weekend was a blast! I've been doing nothing all week, so for me it seemed busy. On Friday I finally got everything organized in my room. Then I hung out with Christina, Ash, and Makelle. We ate scones and laughed with Danny and then we went to see the Vow (again). I thought it was way better the second time! I absolutely loved it (minus the gross butt part)! But for some reason we couldn't stop laughing the whole night!
The laughing did not stop.
On Saturday we had this grand idea to have a BBQ (we always do this, nothing new). So after me and Ash finished helping my mom in the yard we planned for our marvelous BBQ. We made the best potato salad ever and some other treats. Then we put everything on hold to go and see a friend's little sister in Annie Jr. a the Junior High. It was hilarious and so was great in it! We couldn't stop laughing the whole time! Then we stopped at the store for some things and had our yummy BBQ! It was just us, in the middle of the night roasting hot dogs and eating yummy food. We laughed and sang our hearts out. Let's just say, more than one inside joke was made this night. We sang all our favorite songs at the top of our lungs until the second it was curfew for the city. Then we sat telling stories. :)
It was a great memory and we can't wait to do it again! Probably next week! ;)

Day #3, 4, & 5

#3- My idea of the perfect date...
This is really hard because I don't think there really is the perfect date... But right now I think a really fun date would be to sit and watch a movie, but mute it and then you can both sit and make up the words! So much fun! I guess it would get old after a while, but still!
I'm just the kind of girl that like things crazy. The crazier the better. If you do something with me that's totally embarrassing, hilarious, insane, and maybe even slightly illegal, I'll love you forever. Hahahaha basically it's the way to my heart in a weird sort of creepy way...
But if we are getting romantic here I would say just a long walk at dusk talking and laughing sitting watching the sunset together. Then maybe laying down in the mountains to look at the stars. But if we are going back to reality (which I absolutely hate to do), and if you aren't my boyfriend, then I would always prefer something totally random and crazy (for examples see The Vow and any other romantic movie). Even if I was being proposed to I would like it to be hilarious and filled with insides jokes. Oh how I need to stop dreaming. ;)

#4 Your favorite photography of your best friend.
This is beyond impossible. I have many best friends... bear with me...
These aren't even half of them... seriously...

Yep. I can't decide. I need to stop myself before this takes all day.

Whew. Ok. Pretty much to sum it all up. I love all my friends so much. But I also love my pictures so much. So there ya go. Too hard to choose.
Obviously from this 30 day thing you can tell that I'm bad at making decisions.

Day #5 What makes me different from everyone else.
I believe I am different from everyone else because I am me. That's all. I have no idea what to say to that.
I'm optimistic (often too much), I'm a dreamer, I am an idealist (apparently from the previous things I've said), I don't like to disappoint people, I don't really hate anyone, I love my Savior and church, I love to help people, I'm easy to have fun with and entertain, I always have something to say, I'm the biggest flake ever, I would rather sit around a camp fire singing at the top of my lungs then go to a movie, I like movies, I like camping, I love my family, I love being creepy, I love scary movies, I don't like being scared in real life, I love fantasies, I dream of being a princess, I love to talk, I love to spend time with my family, I love to blog, I love to take pictures, I love to make people laugh, I love learning new things, I love meeting new people, I don't like being alone, I love to try my hardest, I love to dress up, I like to be in charge, I like to follow, I like being active, I like the smell of rain, I like little bugs, I like talking to my dogs, I love being in love, I love love, I could watch Disney movies all day long...
Ha ok I think we should stop there... I'm a little boring. But, I'm different because I am me and I love who I am. I wouldn't change one thing about my life :)

Day #2- your favorite movie

I have a lot of favorite movies as well! I'm just going to start naming some that are on my mind right now... but really there are too many and I know that I'll forget some...

The Last Song
Dear John
The Help

Remember the Titans
Listen to your heart
Blind Side

Hunger Games
She's the Man

National Treasure
Phantom of the Opera
The Little Mermaid

Woah. That was a lot. I'm sure there's more too, that's the sad thing.

I basically love anything that is cute, I'm a romantic junkie... remember?
But I also love sports movies and cartoons ;)

Day #1- your favorite song

This is not going to be easy. I already made a blog post about this... ok... at least I thought I did...
Anyways, here's a list of my favorite songs.
I am a lyric person. Of course if that music is great that fantastic. But I listen full heartedly to the lyrics of the song. So, while listening to the song, you should listen to the lyrics :) some of them are really powerful to me.
Also, I am a county fan. Sorry about that...

This was actually in a blog post earlier, so I just copied it :)

If you click on it or put the mouse over it, that will do it.

This one reminds me that the small little trials in life really add up to nothing and that we need to cherish every moment of our lives. Happily Ever After- Jenny Phillips
This one has some cute stuff before it that I just love that makes me cry every time ;) Plus, I totally know the girl that's in some of it, and I met Jenny Phillips too :D
I Believe in Christ- Mormon Tabernacle Choir
This one just gives me goose bumps!
Consider the Lilies- Mormon Tabernacle Choir
This one just has special meaning to my mom and my whole family concerning my dad :)
My Kind of Perfect- David Archuleta
This one is just super cute and needs to be shared ;) I listen to this one probably more than is healthy ;)
In the Strength of the Lord-Jenny Phillips
This one is by Jenny Phillips, but I couldn't find where she sings it on youtube...
We Seek After these things- Jenny Phillips
I know there is a lot of Jenny Phillips, but she is just so good! All her songs are inspirational!
Live Like you believe- Jenny Phillips
This one reminds me of one of my best friends baptism that my other friend sang to her after she was actually baptized :)

Ok sorry, I'm just going crazy on the songs here.... but I have to keep going...
Skin- Rascal Flatts
OK now this one is just super cute and might make you cry a little bit.
Cinderella- Steven Curtis Chapman
This one makes me sad a little just because I had always imagined dancing with my Dad at my wedding, but now I don't get to... but that's ok because I know that I'll get to someday ;) Besides that, my mom cries every single time she hears this one... every time.
Like my Mother Does- Lauren Alaina
Ok now that I put that one this is for sure the last one. This one without fail every time reminds me of my Mom because she is the most perfect person that I know :)
I'm a big Rascal Flatts person. I really love the lyrics of this one because it's so true! I'm not going through this right now, but I was, I wish I had this song at that time!
I love this one as well! Me and Ash listen to it at least once a day!

There is one by Lady Antebeullum called, "One day you will" I can't find a good one on youtube so you'll just have to look it up.

Ok, well I have a million more favorite songs, but that will have to do for now.... :)

30 day challenge!

While I was looking at my friends blog I noticed she was doing this thing called the 30 day challenge. I thought it looked really fun so I'm going to do it!

Here is the wonderful list!

Don't get to bored reading each day, some of them I have already done, but that's totally cool!

Why am I so blessed???

I wonder this almost every day.

But really? Why me???
I just don't get it... what did I do to deserve all of these blessings? There are people out there who have to live each day wondering if they will even get to eat. And I sit here, throwing my food away if I don't want it.
This not only makes me feel guilty when I think about it, but makes me realize how truly blessed I am.

Today while I was at the temple I met one of the  most amazing people I have probably ever met in my life. As I was sitting there in the foyer, drooling just thinking about the missionary that had just baptized me/making a plan to talk to him after he came out, a woman came and sat down next to me. I was reading my scriptures, so I didn't see her at first. But then she just started talking to me. I hardly remember what we were even talking about, but I just couldn't help but be completely happy.

She was 27 and had never been on a single date.
I'm 19 and have been on countless dates.

She had been through 37 treatments of radiation for a tumor they couldn't remove.
I don't even get headaches.

She was made fun of in High School.
High School was a breeze for me.

All of her grandparents have passed away.
I still have 2 wonderful grandmas.

Because of her tumor she is now considered by society, a "special needs individual."
In society's terms I'm considered "normal."

Her mother is in a wheelchair.
My mother can walk.

She can't go to college.
I'm going to BYU.

As I sat there listening to her I struggled to understand why my Heavenly Father has given me such a great life. Why am I so blessed? I don't think I will ever know the full answer until after this life. But sometimes I wish I could just give others the things I have. I just want to make it easier for them. Besides that, I feel so selfish because I have it so good, yet I complain about the silliest things every day. One thing she said that really hit me was, "If I don't get married in this life, I know I'll get married in the next."  I know that's true, but just hearing it out of someone's mouth who truly meant it, and was looking forward to that day was humbling.

Her sweet attitude towards life was what was getting her through. She would talk to almost every single person that was walking in or out of the temple. She had the biggest grin on her face, you couldn't resist feeling an immediate feeling of joy, even if you just saw her. She knew where she was going in life, and knew what she needed to do, and she was doing it. I can't imagine all the people's lives she has touched. Because she sure touched mine in a way that I will never forget.

Cathy reminded me that life is precious and that we should enjoy every moment that we are here. Not worrying about the little things and always having a positive attitude. She also reminded me of how truly blessed I am, and that I need to thank my loving Heavenly Father for all the many things I have every day.

I truly believe that people come into our lives at certain times for certain reasons. We may never figure out the reasons, but everything has a purpose.

Heavenly Father has a plan for me. And he has a plan for Cathy.

I may not know all the details, but he does.
All I can do now is live my life the way he would be proud of.

19 Birthdays and counting!

I had the greatest 19th birthday ever!
I pretty much just woke up and made my own breakfast (waffles with strawberries) and relaxed until my mom got home. Then when my sisters got home we tried to decided what to do forever. So we were going to go ride the Segway’s at Thanksgiving Point but we couldn’t get a hold of my neighbor who works there so we could get discounted tickets. So we decided to go for a drive while we decided what we wanted to do. As we were driving I decided in honor of my birthday we should go around the round-a-bout 19 times. Don’t try this at home, it is illegal, but we went to one that was in the back of Harvest Hills… so it’s ok, right? ;)
My family was basically getting sick while I was doing it, but it was super fun! As we were doing it we had this marvelous plan to do 19 things, with 19 things. If that even makes sense… so we started with the round about as…

#1 Go around a round-a-bout 19 times!

#2 Go down a slide 19 times!

#3 Swing on the swings 19 times!

#4 Walk across the bridge 19 times!

#5 Pick 19 Dandelions!

#6 Try on 19 pairs of glasses!

#7 Get 19 things out of a vending machine!

#8 Walk around with 19 balloons on!
#9, 10,11, 12, 13 Get 19 honey mustards, fries, ice waters, ketchups, and chicken nuggets!

#14 Jump rope 19 times on isle 19!
#15 Get 19 ice cream toppings!
#16 Get 19 different snacks!
#17 Put on 19 ring pops!
#18 Make a 19 scoop ice cream cone!

#19 Paint 19 of my nails!

Plus, here's my "cake." It was a super yummy coconut chocolate creme cake :)

My birthday was AMAZING! I got to relax and spend it with my family! I couldn't have asked for anything better! Plus, my friend Zach gave me a new movie, a bunch of my favorite treats and a really funny poem. Austin even took me out to breakfast the next day, and I got to talk to my 2 best friends on the phone :) Simple, and perfect :)

First Year of College. Check!

First year...
Well, I’m going to be completely honest with you on this post. Straight forward. All the way.
So looking back, my first semester was alright. I was going to my ward, meeting new people not only in my classes, but in my ward. Everything. I did fun things all the time and did pretty good in my classes.
The second semester was a different story.
I did horrible in my classes. Not only because I didn’t go, but because I didn’t enjoy the subjects, and they were hard things for me. Besides that, I had Miss. Saratoga Springs things all the time, and other things as well.
It was a complete disaster. I wouldn’t wish the emotional, mental, or physical toll my second semester took on me, on anyone! I felt like I was this floating fish. Not knowing which way to go or even which way was up. It was the worst thing ever. I don’t even really want to go back because of it.
But I blame all of it on myself. It was my fault 100%.
But the good thing about this, I learned so much!
In reality, I wish I wouldn’t have learned everything the hard way. But now I know that I need to get into a more social place and get tutors for certain classes, and actually go to class. Even getting a job would help!
The first year was a really good learning experience. Filled with ups and downs. Now I can at least say I survived. Barely. And I know how to prepare for next semester!

The Sacrament

I have never really realized how much the sacrament influences our lives. I hadn’t taken it in 3 weeks (because of conference and the cruise) so this was the first time in a while. It really took a toll on me emotionally and spiritually. Not only that, but I was slacking on reading my scripture reading. I sort of realized that my spirit was starting to dim and that I wasn’t myself anymore. Even my mom had told me after a long talk, that I had lost my light that I always used to have. That hurt me pretty bad. I never wanted to lose the spirit that I had or lose my relationship with my Heavenly Father that was always so strong. But, much to my dismay, I was. I now realize why people always say this is time that you will either grow stronger in the church and in your relationship with your Father in Heaven, or weaker. I could feel that in my own life. I needed to take immediate action. So I prayed long and hard to my Heavenly Father to help me figure out a direction that I needed to take in my life, and for me to find ways to serve others and strengthen my relationship with him. I could feel him listening to every word I had to say. Immediately as I bowed my head I felt his spirit and peace surrounding me. I knew the things I needed to do.

But, I didn’t realize that actually taking the sacrament and repenting of all the things I had done would actually make me feel good as new! It was a indescribable feeling and I knew it was the spirit.
I’m beyond grateful to my Heavenly Father for listing to me, and always being there for me. I will be eternally grateful to my brother Jesus Christ for giving his life for me and atoning for all of my sins as well as everyone else’s so I can have that feeling of peace and have the chance to start over.

Caribbean Cruise 2012!

Ok this is going to take FOREVER! But I need to get it done before I forget everything!
But I won't put all the pictures on... that would be 569... I don't even think I can do that... they are all on Facebook though if you're friends with me! Plus they have captions that basically explain them all.
Duh Duh Duh Duh!
Day 1
We headed to the airport at 4:30am! Whew! It didn't help that we went to bed at 1:00 the night before... we procrastinate... and plus, when we get really excited about something we usually end up wrestling and laughing all night long. But we all got up and our super sweet neighbor Sinika took us to the airport. It was slightly confusing because we haven’t been in an airport forever! As you can see from the pictures we were pretty tired, but SO excited!
I was supposed to be studying… I didn’t study at all on our way there, I was way too excited!
The flights were confusing. First we flew into Minneapolis then Tampa, then Miami. Minisoda’s airport was fun because we ate at Chili’s, went around to all the shops, and got some Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory goodies. The only annoying thing was that we had to carry our bags around because we all had carry-on’s- my mom didn’t want us all to bring big bags… and I’m gald we didn’t, you’ll see why later. Ok lied, you’ll see why now.
THEY LOST DANNY’S BAG! It had ALL of his stuff in it! He even brought all of his favorite clothes. He basically just threw his ENTIRE closet in his bag. We were not happy. So that made the wait at the airport even long. We were not happy. But airports have the best customer service (basically they did NOTHING). They gave him a bag with “complementary” things like toothpaste a toothbrush a razor and a stick of deoderent (you lost his bag. Really? You think that’s going to make up for it, if anything it would have made me more annoyed). They said if they found it they would send it to the hotel in the morning. It was a LONG day! We ended up getting to Miami at about 9:00pm (which in our brains time was 11:00pm), and our hotel at about 10:00. But since we are all fish, we had to swim in the hotel pool! I also got an awesome new underwater camera for the trip/my birthday so I wanted to try it out! And as you can see… we definitely tried it out!!! Planking was our thing… we tried to do it in a lot of places. The only problem was that we kinda kept forgetting once we got on the cruise.

Day 2
EASTER!
We ate some yummy breakfast. Guess what, they didn’t find the bag, and our cruise was that day…. So my mom and Danny took a taxi to the nearest wal-mart to buy him everything he needed. The only problem they had trouble finding a taxi coming back so we were all extremely stressed because we had to get on our shuttle to the port and they weren’t here. We missed the first shuttle. Then the second. Luckly a nice lady helped us and they found us some other transportation because they got back late. We ended up having to check out of the hotel and figure everything out without my mom. We were pretty proud. 2 years ago we were at the same hotel but in Vegas for Easter and they had an Easter bunny but we never got a picture so my mom was determined to get one this time. We refused. But the bunny came by us while we were waiting for them to get back from walmart so we took a picture. She was pretty happy.
Once we were in the shuttle everything was better. We could relax for a second. Finally.
Then we got in the long line to get on the ship. I wore by BYU shirt pretty much all the trip but while we moving in the line I heard 2 men yell, “GO COUGARS!” I turned around and saw these men smiling at me and I just gave them a smile and thumbs up. We found friends through my shirt! We ended up talking to them later and found out that one of them had gone to BYU. After the line we GOT ON THE SHIP! YES! We were so excited! All we did for line an hour was explore and go to the fun safety thing….
Then… of course, we swam! The pool was the coolest because it was just salt water and depending on how faster the ship was going there were waves. It entertained us for a long time!
Eating. Oh dear. That’s all we did. We ate icecream at least once a day (mostly like 5 times a day) and had crepes every single night. The ship was pretty much what I expected, but better! There was so much to do and we just had fun all the time!

Day 3
BAHAMAS!
Our ship owned a private island on the Bahamas so it was really nice because we were the only ones there. We even pretty much had a beach to ourselves! We took a ferry or whatever you call it over there and could hardly contain our excitement! We loved how the water looked! It was so clear and beautiful! We couldn’t wait to use our snorkeling gear! But first, we did our 1st excursion, PARASAILING! We’ve always wanted to do it and thought, hey, this is the perfect time! I was a little scared because Danny’s idiot friend (his words, not mine) said that you’ll never go in the ocean ever again cuz you’ll see sharks and stuff. Well, he was sort of an idiot, ha I didn’t see any sharks.  Actually when Ashley and I went up we saw 2 real life dolphins come out of the water! SO COOL! Pretty much we freaked out. The scariest part of the whole thing was when they dunked us in the water… probably because I kept telling them to dunk everyone else in the water, payback. I just kept thinking a shark was watching us and was waiting for us to come down (irrational, I know. That’s just how I think)! But it was a blast and so cool! Besides that, our guides were the coolest ever! They were both Jamacian and hilarious.
Then we went snorkeling…. We saw the same kind of fish everywhere. It was so clear! There wasn’t much! Oh, besides the freaky JELLYFISH! Let’s just say, me and Katelyn freaked out. We are both terrified of the water….haha but, obviously, we get over it! It was so relaxing, beautiful, and nice there! Then they had a huge BBQ on the beach for us! It was yummy and much needed after we did so much! Then we did a little shopping and watched people dance silly and play volleyball. On our way back to the ship on the ferry we actually talked to some people that worked on the ship. It was fun to learn what they had to do!
Then we went to dinner at The Summer Palace. Since it was freestyle cruising, which was perfect for my family, we could choose from a bunch of different restaurants and go when we wanted every night. The food was marvelous! After that we went to a “family friendly” show! We were excited. Nope. The first act was fun, the second, getting a little…. You know… then the 3rd act was pretty much pole dancing, without the pole. We got up right quick and left! Even though we were in the middle in like the 5th row. We weren’t going to lower our standards for that! Then we watched the gorgeous sunset and ate more food of course! Mostly cookies, pizza and ice cream! Then we watched Harry Potter on the big screen!

Day 4
Sea Day
We weren’t excited for this day because we loved The Bahama’s and wanted to get to JAMACIA! But, that’s ok, we still had a ton of fun! We swam for a lot of the day. We ate a lot. We went to a fun jeopardy show and just kind of relaxed and hug out. Then we got all ready for dinner! We tried to look our best because we were going to get picture with the captain! Our waiter was super cool and supes funny! We even played a little “telephone” at the dinner table… it was really fun, but probably not appropriate…. Most of the conversation over the telephone involved a drunk lady and her baby sitting close to us. It was pretty entertaining! We couldn’t stop laughing and probably looked drunk ourselves! We then went and listened to “Travis” (his real name was Solomon, but we named him Travis before we knew what his name was) play the piano. He was this amazing man who played the piano in different places every day and we always searched to find him cuz pretty much we all had a secret crush on that guy. Especialy Danny. The first thing we said when we got home was “I miss Travis.” But we never got a picture with him…. L Then we ate our daily icecream and hung out on the back of the boat like we did almost every single night.

Day 5
JAMACIA!
My mom and Karl both like sunsets/sunrises so they really wanted to go and watch the sunrise in the morning. The rest of us were not about to get up that early to do that. So, we didn’t. They just went and we got to look at the pictures without having to wake up at the crack of dawn. I think we won.
Then we ate breakfast as fast as we could so we could get onto Jamaica as quickly as possible. We were set up to go glass bottom kayaking and climb a waterfall. So we waited for our shuttle… while we were waiting we decided to go walk around a little. BAD IDEA! Everyone was yelling at us asking us if we needed a taxi and stuff. Like everyone. It was so scary! We got out of that right quick! The glass bottom kayaking was pretty cool! We went to a water fall and were able to get out and play in it. It was fresh water and then lead into the ocean. My mom became friends with one of the guides. He was HILARIOUS! He was always singing and teasing my mom. While we were at the waterfall he would walk around and take people’s cameras and take pictures of them. He was the bomb. Then we got to the shore and climbed this huge waterfall. It was a blast! Everyone and their cow was doing it, but we still had fun. Our guide for that was name Rafiel. He was awesome. We had to all hold hands and make our way up the long waterfall. It took forever because there were so many people, and because people were slow. We could of done it probably in 20 min, but it took the group about an hour and a half. But it was so much fun!
So, if you’ve seen the movie “Cool Running’s” you know about Jamaica’s. In the movie they say, “ya mon” a ton! I thought it was over the top in the movie. NOPE! Jamaican’s literally say it every other word! It was crazy! But we thought it was hilarious! They also say, “no problem” all the time too! They were awesome. But scary. Everyone was trying to sell us stuff! We would hear things like “come here pretty girls”, “you want something for your boyfriend”, “just come and look”, and a bunch more! It was overwhelming to walk through the market! I had one guy even ask me if I wanted to stay in Jamaica with me. I told him that would be weird cuz I’m white. Then he told me I could just be a “Ja-mer-i-can.” I laughed pretty hard. But I was still secretly creeped. Then we bought some yummy mangos and did some more shopping (not in the flea market thank goodness) and talked to some locals. It was cool to be in a completely different place and learn about the people. Let’s just say, I probably wouldn’t go back, but it was so much fun anyways!
Oh, and if you thought Utah drivers were bad. You haven’t seen ANYTHING! Seriously! It’s like the other cars and even people don’t exist! We almost got ran over twice, LITERALLY! Oh my. I’m still shaken up from our driving experience there…. It was terrifying….  I can’t really remember what we did the rest of the day…. Probably karaoke night, again, and movies J

Day 6
Cayman Island’s!
Whow! My fingers hurt!
Cayman island’s was a blast! I keep saying that about everything, but it really was so much fun! We started off by trying to get an excursion, but then decided that we wanted to just relax here. Besides that, I had woken up sick with a fever and a sore throat…. That was no fun. We are a coconut from the coconut man. I liked the juice. Ash didn’t. She liked the actual coconut, I didn’t. Even though I’m a huge coconut fan.
We basically just hung out at the beach and went snorkeling and shopping. It was great to relax! I got buried in sand and looked like a mermaid, but the camera got foggy cuz we left it in the sun, so we couldn’t take a pic. We played in the ocean the whole time and made castles J One of the shopping places was called “Karl’s korner” we couldn’t believe it. As we got back on the ferry we saw a girl in a wedding dress and a bunch of bride’s maids! COOL! Then we talked to these really nice people that were siting by us on the way back. They had done things with the dolphins which was what we were originally planning on doing, but we couldn’t find the silly man. So we just relaxed.
Then just random stuff on the boat the rest of the night J

Day 7
Cozumel Mexico
This was probably one of the places I wasn’t as excited about. Just because everyone goes to Mexico and I didn’t think it would be too much fun. But, it ended up being one of my favorite places! The people weren’t trying to sell us stuff every second and it was pretty close to America so in a weird way that made it less stressful J
Besides that we got to RIDE and KISS DOLPHINS! It was one of the coolest things ever! I learned a lot of cool dolphin facts and had a blast at the same time. Katelyn actually wants to be a dolphin trainer when she grows up so they had this program that was called dolphin trainer. You got to go around with the trainer doing stuff all day and actually learn how to train the dolphins. That ended up being really smart because then they treated my family like V.IP. Even though we only paid to ride, kiss, and interact with them. They gave us our own little place to snorkel that they had, and we didn’t have to pay for it. It was like our own little private beach, and it was the best snorkeling we had done all trip! There were a billion creepy stingrays that freaked me out pretty bad. Colorful fish, squid and cool plants. We were in the water the whole time Katelyn was doing the training! Then she actually got to help with the dolphins that we were working with. So we didn’t have to be in a big group like everyone else. It was just our family, the trainer that had been with Kate all day, and then an older couple that had also been with her all day. The older couple was hilarious and made it even more fun. The man was Mister Sir from Holes and the woman was Sandra Bullock from Blind Side… but old…. With a Canadian accent. It was the best. Then we ate real Mexican food with the trainer. Katelyn even got a free meal. It was the best.

Day 8
Sea Day
This day was supes boring to write about. We woke up at like 11:00. Ate a bunch of food, swam, I think, ran around the ship, ate, watched movies, ate, and laughed. Late in the night we were sitting eating dessert and we realized we hadn’t taken any pictures. I was appalled. So we sat there and took a bunch of pictures. They are actually pretty funny because they are just action shots.

Day 9
Getting off the ship.
Yep. That’s what we did. Wow. I’m boring myself writing about this. Maybe it’s because I already wrote basically everything with the pictures on FB. But ya, we got off the ship and then went on this tour of Florida and then went to this Gator place. There we went on a tour of the Everglades, saw a bunch of Gators, watched a guy feed and talk to Gators, held Gators, ate Gator. Basically stuff like that. Man. Sorry I don’t have much details. The pictures tell everything for me!
Ok I'm going to stop putting pictures on now... it's being really slow and I'm running out of patience!!!

Day 10
We were supposed to be flying home....
Our first flight didn’t match up with our second because it had a delay. So the airport got us new tickets for the next day to SLC and we stayed in North Carolina for the night. The hotel was a blast. We got in trouble twice because we were being too loud. We might have had an ice/water/ice water fight… yep. First the lady called up to the room, then she actually came up and said she was still getting complaints. I think people need to chillax a little. It was only 11:00. Besides, we had a ton of fun!
Day 11
We woke up at 5:30 and flew home! Whooo! Then I took finals…

All in all, the trip was AMAZING! I’ll never forget it, and I don’t think my family will either! I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start off my finals and spend quality time with my family exploring and learning about new places!

*The details got less and less through the whole thing because I was getting bored writing this...*
